Albayan Institute

BayanKids

Program Summary

Arabic language lessons occurring weekly under the guidance of skilled instructors , where students will learn Arabic language fundamentals  to allow them to be able to read, write and speak fluently in Arabic.

This program is targeted to children whose parents are interested in providing a steady-paced, non-demanding and fun Arabic language education for their child.

If a child has had prior learning experiences outside of our program, they may have to be tested by a proctor to find out where they would be placed. Testing is conducted through a video and screen-sharing call, and places the child at the highest level we believe they can succeed in.

Curriculum

Albayan Institute provides distinct leadership for a unified approach to the development and implementation of rigorous, relevant curriculum, programs, assessments, and instructional resources that prepare all children to learn to their highest potential.

Albayan achieves this level of excellence by providing an instructional program that directly meets the needs of every child. The mission and vision of the Institute is closely connected to the curriculum, which is focused on teaching children to read, write and speak Arabic in a fun and exciting way.
The  8 Step Proficiency Plan is Albayan Institute's main tool to your child's success in learning Arabic.  Developed over the course of 20 years by esteemed language professionals, and through experience teaching Arabic to English-speaking students, this plan has proven its strength in the face of countless challenges parents face when trying to teach their children Arabic.

Just as its written conversely from right-to-left, the approach to teaching this language needs to be tailored, and carefully and deliberately designed for the English-speaking child.

8 Steps are 8 Levels. From learning the alphabet in Level 1,  to writing essays by Level 8, Albayan will launch your child from a beginner to a talent in the Arabic language.

Philosophy

Through BayanKids, Albayan Institute strives to enhance social, emotional, physical, creative, and intellectual growth in children all by means of the Arabic language.

The program strives to foster an ethic of cultural curiosity and maturity in the child, is grounded in both traditional and modern childhood educational philosophies and maintains a cohesive purpose: encouraging the development of culturally diverse children through formal and informal education.

Its teachers and staff aim to cultivate an environment in which children are developed by means of learning the Arabic language through themselves, their peers, and their educators.
